do men have a problem that needs addressing?

95% of the prison population are male. Men commit by far an away the most crimes, commit more serious crimes, and commit more violent crimes than women.

Does this need to be taken more seriously and do men need to do more about this?

They need to study crime more thoroughly so they don't get caught and go to prison. At least have a good getaway driver.

More likely to be issues that mainly affect men being the driving factor behind those stats, rather than just the fact it's simply "men".

The makeup of your chromosomes doesn't drive you towards violent crime.

There should be a final column for the number of male country leaders who have committed atrocities on others and started wars.

This is just one type of incident - unwanted attention from males.

Something that happened on the train at the weekend. A young lass (early 20's) in a mini skirt walked through a group of drunk men to get something from the cafe. She got a load of wolf whistles and cat calling. On the way back, the same thing happened and one ran his hand up the back of her thigh. She was furious about him touching her. They thought she was fair game as she had a short skirt on.

Then on Sunday I read this article:

and this quote really annoyed me:

She said: “I like #MeToo and would like to give the woman who started it an award but I think it has gone too far. Now any boy who puts a hand on a bosom because he is slightly drunk and has not asked is being in danger of being ostracised and shamed. Girls are viewing teenage boys as aggressive predators. So the normal sexual dance that has gone for ever now seems not OK. Boys are losing their feet.”

How about we teach boys that they don't grope girls until the girl has clearly indicated that she wants to be touched?

It's always been the case, throughout history.men are generally better at everything apart from getting away with crimes

The world would be a better place if all countries only had female leaders.

Went for a job at one of the worst young offendwr prisons in england years back (as a handyman and i thought it was a bloody housing estate!) And the bloke in the interview said 80% of the inmates were young lasses with drug problems.

mind when i got back to tell mrs sauce that fact, and said i was told id probably be unblocking toilets and building up shoe cupboards for them, sheproceeded to rip the shit out of me saying "youre not doing that for some tart while i have that shelf under the stairs still in its packet needing to get put up for me!" ..........im glad i didnt get the job tbh

Women get more lenient sentences.

Fair point. The law has always been harsher on men.

Perhaps young lasses these days have a bit more perspective given they are just as bad as young lads when out these days, and nothing much is said.

Agree with you there, no lass should have to go through any of that.

Some men are thugs, some men are thieves, some men have addictions, some men are led.by the cock or the wallet, some men end up in jail because of one of the aforementioned.
I'm glad I'm not a man, I'm too busy with housework and shit.

Does she really think that #metoo is a good thing though? It seems to me she’s saying girls should just accept any unwanted attention.

The pendulum has been pushed even further thanks to the likes of Tate and that’s the issue that needs tackling, not gaslighting girls who are assaulted into thinking they’ll damage boys’ lives if they report them for sa.
