Disrespect towards Referees.

Its not going to change though. It doesn't matter what the future of the game looks like, referees will always receive the level of abuse they currently get. I can't imagine a time when people are going to start being rational and sensible about refereeing. It's just going to get worse and worse.

We could have the best training, the best recruitment, the most knowledgeable and gifted referees that you could possibly appoint but until adults watching football stop behaving like little kids it isn't going to change.

Can we have better refereeing?

Can you point me to a standard you've seen in the past you want to get it back to?

We just want better refereeing man

Ok can you point me to a league in the world where officials are better so we can look to copy that blueprint?

I JUST WANT BETTER REFEREEING

Have you not thought that this is as good as it gets? Every bit of evidence out there points to that

Fuck off you ref lover

Some of the refs are absolutely shocking. Foreign football riddled with corruption and far east betting syndicates hoying there claws in

What were the Leeds players twisting about last night when they surrounded the ref at full time last night? Don’t think there was any controversial decisions.

4 or 5 borderline calls went your way. They were all justified decisions. Leeds were pissed off that the ref didn't give the calls the way they wanted. It's the same shit every single week regardless of which club it is.

Well I didn’t notice any of that, thought jobe must have been offside for the goal the way they went on, but was nowhere near.

I'd like to have seen one of the Premier League refs of the early 2000s take a stand, maybe one who was nearing retirement. When the Man Utd players started charging at him, stand his ground and when they smash into him start handing out immediate red cards. When it gets to five Utd players sent off, call off the match and report them to the league. Maybe do some pre-match mind games like Ferguson used to, talk about how referees who don't ref the match to his liking end of officiation third tier games the following week. Talk about how he kicked the door to the ref's changing room off the hinges last time after a decision he didn't like, wonder aloud if he needs to get himself under control.
