Disney world Florida

Spot on. Even when the parks close and its a rush out the que’s fly down tbh

One night we left holywood studios and were back at the hotel in less than 10 minutes and you have to change aswell
👍
What about in the morning?

Going October next year, everything sorted apart from the flights, think we're looking at £600 for the 3 of us.

We were meant to be hiring a car but I'm dreading seeing that price.

I paid a grand each for the flights alone last time we went. So that's great.

Have seen some cracking deals recently though

Shocks me how much some people end up paying for Orlando. I'd say on average we usually pay about 500-600pp, no more. That's for flights and accommodation. Last trip in December gone was £1767 for 3 of us, return flights and 4* hotel on ID with BA. Year before, September was 600ish each for similar. August before that was just over 700 etc... Mix of villas and hotels.

Staying there in October.
What were the lines like for the skyliner?
Skyline is great. You have to change at CBR for both parks, but I'm sure it'll still be quicker than the bus!

I nearly bit at these prices about 6 weeks ago, but didn't want to leave the dog.

Moving on from the moaning.......Melborne airport was fantastic. Smaller than Tees Valley, the staff were class, got through security quickly, very friendly, got the feeling they were over the moon to have the TUI Brits there. Transfer is ~60 minutes but it normally takes this amount of time to get through immigration at sanford / orlando int.

We went through Melbourne and on the way back there was a massive smash on the freeway. Took 3 hours to get to the airport. To be fair we got through the airport in 5 mins and there was nowt through the security worth speaking of so and the lounge was shite no great hardship in the end.

I'm doing Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, LA, Chicago, DC, Boston and New York then finishing off in Toronto (I know thats in Canada). Really can't wait and its not till next July.
There's a lot of mike's in that trip! 😲
How you getting around them all? Flights and driving?

I’ll keep an eye on this & read through properly cos we’re planning it for 3/4 years. Bairns are 6 & 2 now. Maybe when they’re 9 & 4 or 10 & 5. Trying to do it so the oldest isn’t too old not to blow her mind & the youngest isn’t too young to appreciate it.

Trains, coaches and flying mate. Doing the 19 hour overnight Amtrak from Chicago to DC.

Nice.
Is it purely City visits or getting outside of them?
When in Seattle make sure to get yourself across to West Seattle. Sample a bit of Alki Beach but I can highly recommend paying a visit to Easy Street Records on "The Junction" if you like your music (has a cafe as well which is good).
Hire a bike in Portland as its easy to get around with loads of dedicated bike paths in and around the river. We did a good little loop across the River.

Mainly just city visits mate, cramming a lot into 3 weeks. Easy Street Records is on the itinerary so will definitely be going there.
