I went about 20 years ago. I thought the Eurostar was great, dropped off inside the park. We stopped on site for 2 nights which was fine but the bairns were very young, the oldest was 6.

I would imagine the park has expanded since then like.
 
It depends. Are you the type that just walks round and then goes home, or are you the type that likes to go on rides, see shows and eat in the restaurants in the park? Would you want to stay for the fireworks on an evening? If so then you need two days for the park. If you want to visit the movie studios too, then add another day.
 
We did 2 nights 3 days. I think we squeezed just about everything in. But it was a mammoth task. My daughter was only 4, so we bought her a cheap push chair. Really pleased we did as the amount of walking we did was crazy.
