This should be a good oneGo to your local historical archive, library, or the internet and find some old pictures of your town. See if you can find roads, buildings, or other structures that still exist today.
Then try to recreate the scene, but obviously it will be the "Now" version in 2022
Try to match the shot as best you can.
Then enter the original old photo and your competition entry.

The first thing that springs to mind is Binns and Weatherspoons. I wonder if Weatherspoons use the tunnel under Fawcett Street as a cellar?
I once went for a job interview at the finance department of the Sunderland and South Shields building society, where the Town Hall once stood. I failed to add up my expenses claim correctly, that's probably why I didn't get the job.The tunnel is still visible from the Wilko side but they don't use it.
Always a last minute couple to scupper my chances of one voteJust 2 entries so far
I’ve got the old photo sorted, just need to get off me ass and take the new one

Aycliffe town centre, obviously changed a lot with the road gone and new buildings, tried to take as close as I could. Hopefully I’ll better the last comp and get at least one vote
Sugar, I uploaded a photo in error and the only way to remove it was to delete the folder I’ll sort, cheersNot long to go
There is a problem:
Requested album could not be found.
Welcome to the competition, but you have to take a photo yourself inbetween March 2022 and the end of April 2022. There is still time to enter though! If you had taken the second photograph, it would have been a very good entry.Sorry can’t be credited with either photo but it’s Fellgate Metro Station and before it was built in 1960-something with Mallard going over the bridge
