Did we sack Bruce too early?

Not a rhetorical question, I honestly cannot remember

I know we were having bad runs, but were we at extreme relegation risk?

Would he have been sacked if MON wasn't around?

The run of form up to his sacking was abysmal. We'd won two home games all year, and one had come on New Year's Day!

he had his moments, both good and bad, sadly his bad moments were far longer.

you could argue if not for the sale of bent things would still be rosy, that seemed to pull the carpet from under us

Time dims the memory so what was it 2 wins in 10 months and 1 win at home that season, playing awful spiritless football having been given a lot of backing by short

It wasn't just MON who was available Mark Hughes was the favourite of many

No he was not sacked to early but media will and do paint it that way

i think he was sacked at the perfect time but he was still screwed over by the sales of bent and in particular gyan who was sold after the window had closed so he couldn't be replaced, we missed Henderson engine with Gardner not capable of covering as much ground either.
