In his final few post match interviews it looked like he'd just had enough and was waiting for the sack.

Understand that but nothing like Reid's best team.and thanks for the best, most entertaining football ive watched live in my lifetime.
I disagree mate, but it depends what you personally like like!Understand that but nothing like Reid's best team.
Of course not . He thought too much of his young players to f.ck around like that . For his faults he is an honourable man with a common decency .,despite what some posters keep alluding to .I was under the impression, and probably wrongly, that speakman was making mowbray play one of the 4 strikers the club had invested in. As soon as we stopped playing dack and or jobe up front to accommodate a striker the shape and conversion rate for goals disappeared and the bad run began.
Then there were other odd selections like Defenders in midfield. So I was pleasantly surprised to see the team and shape yesterday with jobe up front. Suprise suprise we played well and looked better.
So why did tony keep rotating strikers if he didn't have to - was he prepared to sacrifice points and his job to make a point that the strikers weren't good enough?
Surely the same could be said about Mowbray ,given some of the post about him on here .Exactly and that’s allowed unfortunately. I’m no Speakman apologist but he’s given a tough time on here (which is easy to do) without a lot of substance to the ins and outs of what goes on.
Mowbray and Dodds couldve been given different orders.Surely it’s obvious he wasn’t being told to play a striker as Dodds didn’t yesterday.
