As good as ever and I thought that final scene was different and very clever.
I think it's always a sign of a quality programme when each episode feels too short.

This. I start watching it at 10 oclock, 5 minutes later it's half past. I like the links with the magpies (birds, not smelly football fans) over the centuries.
I thought the series had lost its way a bit but the final episode tonight was superb.

I loved the whole series, nice gentle English comedy, no one got shot, and it all ended happily ever after
