Just finished the 2nd episode of the 2nd series. It's average. The 1st series was just ok as well, I thought.

Our lass is from over there and was around the age of the characters at the time it's set. She says for all it's a comedy they've got the feel for what it was like spot on.

Been watching this over the last month and I think it is brilliant. It has a perfect blend of swearing, cynicism, nostalgia, comedy and history. Throw in a great soundtrack and this is the best home grown comedy in yonks.

I think the Americans got it right.

Derry Girls is a series which has so far had two seasons. That makes more sense to me than saying it's a series which has so far had two series.

The first season was excellent, second not as good. I've got a few friends who are from that part of the world and a lot of the language reminded me of times with those people.
