He went to the Walkabout in Covent Garden when we drew 1-1 and Sess got sent off. He just got a shock at how mental we all get, I think. I think he feels a bit weird, as he doesn't really understand it. Cov don't have rivals really. :)[DOUBLEPOST=1391000994][/DOUBLEPOST]
Brilliant. I'm there then.

I think I asked him to hold my pint while the mags took their penalty "just in case they miss like" and then when they did miss, he ended up wearing my pint.

I thought that was hilarious, he didn't. :)

Watched a few games here, including a derby a few years ago. Was about 5 Safc and 5 Nufc in, finished 1-1.
Not bad downstairs, cinema type set up. Few smaller screens upstairs.

Looks like an interesting beer selection too - lots of craft ales

Can't remember the selection but I did drink Sam Adams in here last time.

One thing I will add is that when I went here to watch the pre-season friendly against Man City in that far East tourny thing. Downstairs was closed for a private function so we could only watch the small screens upstairs.

So has it been decided where everyone's watching it? Been in Oxford Arms before, canny pub. Never seen any football in there mind.

Oxford Arms is a good pub but quite expensive. Never been in Red Lion so can't comment.

The Oxford Arms is/was one of the greatest pubs on the planet. Ive not been in for about four years and dont know if its changed management since then. Pat the Matt Le Tissier lookalike was the guvnor back then and he always had the match on back then. He even sent a free round ower when we had promotion confirmed once. Also sent a free bottle of champers ower for the French couple on the next table after they won the WC, as our table was the only other one cheering for em they shared it with us!
How has The Oxford Arms cropped up on this thread? Is the match definitely on?
