The majority of the championship is fucked financially. Very few clubs are even breaking even and some of the losses are horrendous. Birmingham a couple of years ago were paying out 202% of their income on wages alone.

Well, UEFA are waiting to see if there's a viable and plausible replacement team that could bring in more worldwide revenue for them than Man City. If yes, they'll be banned, til their presence grows in the east (which it is, rapidly) if not, then they'll be allowed to continue, with or without fines

Reading the comments on the Derby forum, such as don't believe a word the owner says, the recruitment team are hopeless and bemoaning the lack of analytics, reminds me of something but can't think what.
We didn't overspend this year. We sold £22 million worth of players.
Its not the spending thats causing the clubs to struggle. Its the wages.
Unless there is a cap most clubs are going to fail soon.
