Denying yourself or the principle

I actively avoid Nestle products because they are total shitehawks. I'm vexed about the baby milk scandal and Pure Life water issues in developing nations.
I remember this being a campaign when I was at uni 30 years ago. Of course, I completely ignored it. The only agitprop I was interested in was the Hunt Saboteurs, which I never got round to joining either.

I won’t buy coke since they dropped the bottle size to 1.25, I get 2L Pepsi instead.
Also refuse to buy 330ml beer cans in shops unless heavily discounted.

Never used a drive through. Don't see a point in them. I don't want to eat while driving and it would be cold by time I got it home so going to the counter and eating the meal inside seems the most sensible thing to do. Even if I just wanted a drink on a long drive it's nice to get out to stretch my legs for a few minutes.
Mental when there's a car queue round the block at Silky when you can just walk in and get served straight away like.

I use Amazon for lots of things and the service is superb. Lots of stuff is Chinese, in my view they are meeting a need and as long as the quality is ok I will buy it.

I wouldn't. I can't stomach cider. I learned at an early age that there is a direct correlation between drinking it and throwing up.

Drink cask ale. It's usually the cheapest option. Still £3.80 in my local where the trendy lagers and are over £4.50. Don't mid a Neck Oil occasionally but not at £5.20 a pint (and over £6 in more expensive places). I think it's being deliberately priced high to make it look like a premium beer.

I like ale but can't drink it all day on a session and loads of pubs are crap at keeping it right.

Even if you buy an expensive brand the chances are that it was made in the same Chinese factory. Amazon is just giving a platform to smaller companies to reach global markets. OK, a some of the stuff is cheap crap but just because you've never heard of the supplier before doesn't mean that it's rubbish.
