Flipping heck man, here we go again.

Then I assume from Stewart’s comments it’ll be commit or don’t play next season. The fact he’s already been offered one and not signed suggests other clubs might already be in his ear.

Who would want him? He’s only played a handful of games for us.

Ends 2020
Edit: my mistake. Hume's end this Summer. It's Oviedo whose contact runs out next Summer.

Nah, my mistake mate. Hume is this Summer. It's Oviedo next Summer.

Do you think our youngsters are unknown’s to premier league clubs? I mean look at the lad who went Arsenal, who’d want him?

There’s a difference between taking players of that age to attempt to nurture them in that environment, compared to Hume who’ll be 21 this year and has played ok for us in a very small amount of games.

You’re going to need to provide a source for such a claim because I’ve never heard of a bonus payment for being selected for the bench without getting on the pitch, I’ll refrain from calling you a liar but let’s just say I’m skeptical.
Academy players get a hefty bonus for making the bench. Not sure about first teamers

Ends 2020
its end of this season mate unless we had a clause for an extension (which i doubt since thats one thing stewie originally complained about in this podcasts when he took over)
Jack Ross gives contract update on the key Sunderland youngsters he wants to keep at the club

Hume is one of a number of young players out of contract this summer in talks with the club. Elliot Embleton, currently on loan at Grimsby Town, as well as goalkeeper Max Stryjek, are players that Ross wants to keep.

Yeah I know. Already acknowledged in my other post very shortly after my original.

he has had six league games..there isnt a player in history whose all round game has been good after sic x league games..

Do you actually believe that?

I would say that there are a load of players who had a good all round game after 6 league games. In fact there are some that were already looking likely to be world class players after only 6 league games (Wayne Rooney springs to mind).

He loves to run at people thatth for sure. But still unsure about his all round game personally. Hope he proves to be a very useful player though.
He could be used more further forward.

If McGeady is injured for the weekend we could play him left wing and Oviedo left back.

Or we could be a bit more radical and play Morgan left wing where he has played most of his life.

wayne dd it in the premier league when he was four years younger than hume..

Not sure whether the lad has a thread of his own. In typical SMB fashion I was just wanting to big this kid up. Looks a real prospect, specially playing on that taity field at Accrington.

How good can he be?

Got a lot of pace and that's always a massive asset, especially for a team like us where we are pretty slow. When he gets on the overlap McGeady can come inside. Tin hat on but his defending in the games he's came off the bench has been pretty poor. So bit area of improvement needed there. Sure it will come with time though.
