Don't understand the negative comments about James, he is solid enough for me like and decent going forward.

I guess we need a target for the boo boys though.

He is ok but doesn't offer enough going forward. His defensive shape and action for their first yday was a total embarrassment. Was easy to deal with too

1. Oviedo
2. Hume
3. James

Daft that we don't play Oviedo but hopeful Hume gets a run now. James isnt' bad, he's just a league 1 player. I think Hume, given more game time will turn out to be a significantly better one

oviedo is injured and when he has played hasnt been that good.
hume has been good every time he plays.

james is fine for this league-has been promoted from it before so we know he is good enough.
He cant defend for shit and hardly crossed the half way line .

He's awful defensively, constantly out of position and can't tackle for shit. He can run at players and seems to have a good turn of pace when doing so but his decision making is nearly as bad as his defending.
He could develop into a decent player, time will tell but he has the pace and ability on the ball to take players on which is a good sign as those you can't really teach. Just needs to work on things that players can work on

He stood his Portsmouth winger up twice yesterday, stopping crosses getting into the box. Aye, his positions isn't as sound as it could be, but he can make up for it with pace. I think he's definitely better than James.

Tries to get forward at every opportunity, was hampered by Honeyman yesterday and his lack of movement

This is true. Honeyman mirrored our performance yesterday: very good first half, but absolutely dire second half - actually blocking up passing lanes and not moving.

His end product is awful. Really promising player but seems to lose the ball every time he gets it.
Think that's very harsh, he gets into very good positions but the most difficult part is picking that final ball. Can remember him getting an assist against Rochdale as well. He's only 20 anarl so that end product is gonna improve.

why would ross care about wages in janaury? ross doesnt negotiate transfre deals..the owner said he chose to keep him because nee fucker would pay a decent amount of the wages..

He was expecting him to have completed his move to WBA. The deal fell through. Ross wanted him gone, it didn't happen. Of course he cared about getting Oviedo's wages off the books. He could have had a bit more leeway in the transfer market if he had.

Ross being stubborn ?

You’re making an assumption there like mate.

Why not play him then? He's fit and is a quality player at this level...

ross deosnt set the transfer budget..no one was offering all of oviedos wages...oviedo is injured so cant play.

I'm not saying he sets the transfer budget. I'm saying that he would have been happier if Oviedo's wages were off the books.

He isn't injured. He is severely lacking game time. Ross has already acknowledged this.
