Looks decent. Hopefully signs a new deal and keeps improving here.

Just the caveat if it’s the third division and he struggles to defend at this levelVery.
JR doesnt manage the reserve or development sqauds..its those managers who pick the team..as another poster said..i think oviedo is another rodwell..
is hume out of contract in june?
ross doenst manage the u23s..
you would hope so. i dont know who the U23 manager is right now-but i would guess his line manager is Richard Hill, not Jack Ross. But yes you would hope a first teamer would be put in their in the interests of the club.My understanding was that if the first team manager wanted to take a look at someone, then the U23 manager would oblige. It would seem logical if it was a hierarchical structure thing as surely the end product is to get the best first team that we can out on the field![]()
Best player on the pitch against Fleetwood, earlier in the season, prior to his injury, IMHOThought he was excellent tonight.
Not sure how old he is exactly maybe 19 ish.
He’s got bags of energy, great going forward and seems ok defensively to me.
He’s so inexperienced so of course he’s going to have to improve both defending and attacking but he seems to be a real prospect to me on the little I’ve seen in the first team.
Very similar was said about Robertson at before he signed for Hull and when he signed for Liverpool. Now I'm not saying Hume is that good but he looks to be in that mould to me, a very attacking modern type of full back. See also Van Aarnholt, used properly these type of players can be far more important than just a solid full back.Just the caveat if it’s the third division and he struggles to defend at this level
People getting carried away here.
Hard to tell if he will be any good we play in a pub league remember
How many times have we said that over the years, countless young lads played a few games and at a higher level as well and never made it, we didnt chase them to sign long term contracts.Whilst I take the point you make, the lad does look confidant and skilfull on the ball. For someone who hasn't played that much,he looks good regardless of the league we're in.

The likes of Hume should be greatful the club has shown good faith in him keeping him on the books and should be honoured we are willing to give him a further chance to earn a first team place.
