The wanker could have tried playing half decent football instead of the dross he dished up most weeks.

Here's a tip Jason, your team play in the same colour shirts as you, hopeless tit.

Some people early on this thread saying he's a good player

Ffs man

In the end, all that matters is that he applied himself - and he did. But the air of entitlement is extraordinary.

One like ........ from Redcar.
Jeezus if I came from Redcar I wouldn't show my face, Black Hole Of Calcutta springs to mind.

All players want to play for good teams but he never looked like a top of the league player to me. Its easy to be a good player in a good team, as demonstrated by a number of Man Utd players who have left over the years and subsequently looked average. In my opinion he got found out last season (as did many others) and you can really tell how good a player is when they are in a poor / bad team.

He was useless!!

is the club doing anything at all to help players settle/grow an attachment to the region?

Apparently not.

Apparently not.

We have player liaison officers - who do help the players settle into the area, however, that may just be for players who sign permanently. Thankfully Denayer wasn't one of those.
