Before our game today

“He was brilliant to be honest. People always spoke about David Moyes being miserable but then he came and he really impressed me. His sessions, everything was with the ball, little rondos, possessions, attention to detail was unbelievable. Set-pieces, and all the meetings. What impressed me was how he treated the senior players. He wanted you to control the dressing room. He was just fantastic and it’s not surprised me the job he has done here.”

I thought you lot hated Defoe because he left you for a bigger club ?

He was absolutely f***ing awful

and utter disgrace

Don’t think any of us are going to change our opinion on Moyes or Defoe, for opposite reasons, so it’s pointless starting this thread up. Although I’m sure there’ll be a banning, offer of a fight and lion turd in a knicker drawer.
Being realistic, he’s only posted it to get a reaction. He knows he’ll be able to hide behind the fact it’s got us involved and pretend to think we actually care what’s been said.

Regardless of how he is doing now, he was an absolute disgrace here. He threw in the towel.

From day one (sending texts to journalists telling them they were "about to see the worst Premier League team in history and his interview after Boro when he had all but given up after 2 games), to the end of the season with the John Terry antics and everything in between (threatening to slap a female reporter for one) he was utterly abysmal.

It's a shame his signings were a load of shite, and they were his signings.
I for one am absolutely stunned that Jermain Defoe didn't criticise him or say anything remotely negative when asked a question as a football pundit live on TV. Shocked to my very core.

Good point.

He’s a stain on our history. I don’t know the man to dislike him, but I hate what he did to our club

So brilliant, detailed and fantastic but couldn't take a team with confidence and get them to win a few games:rolleyes:

I used to like you fella.

The croissant faced twat can fuck off .

I don’t think anyone can question the pedigree of David Moyes and his ability as a coach. However we can question his commitment to his job whilst with us, his inability to create a positive feeling amongst the team and club as a whole and the awful ex-Everton/Utd players he brought in that were both uninspiring and had very little influence.

Moyes is (currently) loved by the Cockney Media. Defoe, who’s career is coming to an end, probably covets a job in the media. He is playing the game. The lack of honesty in the game is depressing.
