Yes, that's correct. She was Sharon Arden back then, daughter of Don Arden the promoter.
Sharon ran Jet records which was part of her dad's business and ozzy's label.

I think she was an employee of the label that was run by her dad. ELO were their biggest sellers for years.[DOUBLEPOST=1391374321][/DOUBLEPOST]
I'll be honest and say i don't think our paths crossed but only because of timings. He'll know my mate at the time Tony Dennis who is still with Ozzy now. He'll definitely know Sharon and Tony and probably quite a few others i could mention.
I can't remember if Don was at Ozzy's house at Butt Lane in Ranton, Shropshire when i went there. I don't want to sound rude but it was a bit chaotic and a long time ago.
I was around the first tour but i was quite young and ended up in the SF.
Atrocity Cottage?

She was in charge of the label or certainly a major part of it. It was a subsidiary of another label, maybe tied in with CBS.
Her dad might've had his name on the paper but it was left to her to run it, she maybe took advice off her dad though.

When did Don Work with Thin Lizzy?[DOUBLEPOST=1391374495][/DOUBLEPOST]

Not a patch on Burn.[DOUBLEPOST=1391373964][/DOUBLEPOST]

He played on Sabbath's Never Say Die album in 78. Great keyboards on Johnny Blade and Air Dance.

A rubbish album though.

When she first met Sabbath she was a secretary and when Sabbath fired Ozzy it was her that lined up his replacement, Dio, Don managed managed Ozzy initially and she took over after she married Ozzy.

Jet was definitely Don's label, they might have had a distribution deal with CBS as Ozzy eventually ended up with CBS/Sony later on.[DOUBLEPOST=1391374792][/DOUBLEPOST]
If that was the name of Number 4 then yes!!:)

A couple of Sabbath's roadies wrote a book and that's what they said it got called. Ozzy's first wife was a bit of a looker.

I agree with the things you say about Don/Sabbath etc but Sharon had far more to do with the running of Jet records than it might appear on paper. Every time i was down there Don wasn't around and Sharon was doing all the day to day stuff.
She was on the first tour herself in person running things. She would've had cover at the office during that period.

Did you ever meet Ozzy's first wife? I've seen pictures of her from the 70s and she's a lot better than Sharon.

Saw DP at The Roundhouse in London last year. They were brilliant. Any chance of a few uk new dates?

We bumped into the South Shields Fan Club in a pub beforehand. Very unexpected.

She was called Thelma if i recall. If i met her it was very very briefly as she didn't tour etc. She was a looker though.
It was different with Sharon because first and foremost she was the manager at the time which was the priority before being a girlfriend/wife. She was the point of contact so dealings with Sharon were almost constant for everyone.

Alan White grew up in Ferryhill and went to Dean Bank Juniors and then Broom Secondary Modern. He was in John Lennon's Plastic Ono band and then Yes.
I was in the same class as him at Junior school. No idea who, if anyone, he supports.
Got the info off wiki. I was at Rick Wakeman's classical connections tour at Temple Park in the 80s, and Rick introduced Alan's mother, who was in the audience.

Those shows were pretty awesome. Pain in the arse for us trying to get the full production in there though![DOUBLEPOST=1391379958][/DOUBLEPOST]

Tony's from Blyth. I went on the back of his bike a few times , a kawasaki 900 if i remember right. If Don knows him could you get him to tell Tony i was asking after him. I lost all of Tony's contact details back then when mobile phones weren't really around. If you could get a contact email for Tony that'd be great. Pm it though!!
SF: Special Forces.
On the first tour i was pretty much alongside Tony, no need for names, he'll know who i am!!
