Aye, some good bands on at the (Sunderland) mecca back then. Also, Twisted Sister, Girlschool etc. Saw Blizzard Of Oz at ncl mayfair.they were aye. saw them at the mecca probably early or mid 80s. it was during a spell when the mecca were showing some decent bands on a regular basis. remember uriah heep, blizzard of oz and the stranglers were on about the same time
