Decent printer

I took some photos of my youngest yesterday while he was getting ready for his school prom. I rarely print my photos and was wondering what would be a decent printer to print on.

if its just a couple might as well just get them done at one of those print station thingies...doesnt seem worth buying a printer

or ask a mate to do it
 
I have a feeling the Mrs will want some printing for the family too. I already have an Epson printer but if she's going to want more printing then it may be worth the investment in a better model
 
last 2 I have had have been canon Pixma's and do good quality edge to edge

best 2 all rounders seem to be epson xp420 or the pixma mg5620

there are dedicated photo printers that will do a better job, but they cost more and thats all you can do with them
 
Probably better off getting them professionally printed. Plenty of places you can upload to digitally online and order the prints. Use a decent company and they will be better than anything from a non-professional inkjet and will work out far cheaper than the cost of the printer/paper and inks you will need.
