David Moyes

Stevie Wonder would keep that West Ham side up FFS. Look at the firepower they have.

This in a nutshell is the difference between the situation at WHU and us. We actually looked like we might stop up when we had Big Vic and Watmore to help JD, - but once they got injured, and crucially werent replaced in January, we were fucked. ( JD knew it and downed tools ). It was boring under Moyes but we never got the same sort of hammerings under him we did under Poyet, Dick and even Big Sam.
There was some level of organisation under Moyes but he just sucked the optimism and spirit out of the whole club. Grayson clearly could not replace that but the early signs are that Coleman can

Whatever football expert.

You tend to get what you pay for. A £60M striker should score more goals than a £16M. Morata has 9 goals this season, the other bloke 4. He's a far better player, end of.
They both missed good chances. You're talking about a bloke who has scored over 40 premier league goals not some inexperienced kid.

Man Utd sold him to an also ran German club for £7M 2 years ago.

He's a decent sub for a decent club but Man Utd decided he wasn't good enough for them. He's Defoe standard.
he went to Real Madrid on loan first, you may have heard of them?

the also ran German club were top 3, not sure that qualifies as also rans

this time last year we lpayed 3 games v Man City ansd Arsenal

we conceded 14 and scored 1

in the last 10 days we've played City, Chelsea and Arsenal, scored 2 conceded 2 and picked up 4 points.

I have no complaints at all about how we;re going

if it's so easy be interesting to see how many others down the bottom get 4 points out of a run of games like that

I'm not disputing that Moyes can turn you around . It's the lack of imagination of your owners and their abject fear of relegation that makes them discard any footballing identity West Ham might have had in order to get 10 men behind the ball at home v Chelsea . The game's gone !

you think there is anything in the idea that the Chairman flat out lied to him re transfers?

We know Allardyce warned him about things about the job

how motivated would you be at work if the boss told you something to get you to take the job and it turned out to be bullshit?

You on about our chairman here or yours?

moyes was never that motivated here and acted like he was doing the club a favour by gracing us with his presence and then to nonchalantly brush it off and say i didn't enjoy it and it was his mistake to join the club dwarves to fail because of rhat. That squad last season was better than bottom of the league.

when they scored v Chelsea they just hoofed it for tthe last 60 minutes, his teams are boring to watch

edit: deserves

..but they won

Hate to say it but don’t think we would be struggling as badly as we are if Moyes had stayed in the job
He would of built a team if givin the time but we don’t give managers any time
Didn't want to be here

I do see that some of the blame lies with the players., but whether he lied to him or not he still threw his toys out the pram because he did not get his way. Said after the first home game of the season that Sunderland were in a relegation battle and after beating a Sam Allardyce side away 4-1 you would think the next home game against Southampton would be an ideal opportunity to get some momentum going but it was 4-0 , his opinion "Some people were expecting us to win today, but we didn't" this was a side that had not won in 6 games.

He paid £8m for Papy, signed Pienaar and played him regularly despite the fact he was a footballing pensioner, Just sat around looking miserable and not changing anything until the last 10 minutes of the game when they were lost. His "football" us worse than Sam Allardyce's I really can't see him lasting at the Hammers long term he does have more athletic players there though.

The fact he is managing a PL club grinds on me like.

Getting interviewed on BT the smug fucker.

Shouldn't be allowed near a football pitch for what he did to us.

Has better players who are self motivated and team only required tweaking to get their confidence back. Has really not had to manage at the adverse end, like here Oh, forgot he didn't manage when with us either.

Just a route back into football, after all it was our fault not his that we were fekked - and West Ham and others bought into that never mind 3rd club he had fekked up.
Then his mates in the media can just whitewash his excuses and put the blame on the "poisoned chalice". Mr Teflon "18% win record" Moyes the nice guy!.
