Musical and cultural icon. Gutted when he died. Was at Central Station Newcastle around 7am waiting for the train to Edinburgh when the news filtered through.

Very emotional watching that and reminiscing about all of those wonderful tracks and videos.

He just had the look of an icon. Its like when Glenn Hoddle took to the football field - he just looked like a class act and a footballer. You got the impression that Hoddle couldnt have been anything else other than a footballer.

You look at Bowie and clearly on a different level he could never have been anything other than an icon. He seemed to know what he would be right from the off.

Sad that he's gone. What a legacy to leave though and imagine half the planet being gutted that you've left and then they find out that theyve been left a film about his death in Blackstar.
