Just watched the final as i missed it last night having to get up for work today. Smith is totally distraught poor bloke. I said earlier on he should see a sports psychologist or someone as he’s clearly hugely talented but as soon as he gets to a final he just seems to get caught up in it.

He didn't get caught up in it this year to be fair, he held his own and was beaten by the better man on the day. Once the dust settles he'll be happier with that performance than the one in his last world championship final. He actually looked like he could win this one until Wright did what Wright does.

Personally I don’t think it’s good as her doing well would promote the sport even more.

But fully agree that any entry to tournaments such as the premier league should be earned on merit, and she should be no where near it until she earns that right purely through performances and nothing else.
It's a tricky one. I totally get what you're saying but on the other hand I feel the likes of Sky and some on social media are over hyping her maybe that isn't helping her (I don't think it is). I'm tired of all the Premier League talk to be honest and just want to see all players earn their place in whatever tournament it is and earn a tour card the right way. Some well known names already out today as well. Still a couple of days to go to advance to the final stage
