Have finally seen this film... had initially intended to go watch it in the cinema in week of what became first lockdown back in march 2020

Excellent film, with Mark Ruffalo portraying a corporate lawyer who goes after Dupont (manufacturers of Teflon)... By coincidence he also portrayed one of the reporters at the Boston Globe in the Oscar winning film Spotlight a few years before he made this film.
It wasn't an easy watch at times, but remained riveting throughout... shocking to think or see how Dupont manipulated governments and environmental agencies with rules or standards they set up themselves!

Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), since renamed as C8, is basically a man-made chemical, and has caused cancers throughout the World (from livestock to humans)... the fact they (Dupont) actually supplied their workers with Teflon-laced cigarettes as a human experiment back in the 1960's is just mind-blowing! But it also shows how naïve we as society or people have been when faced with those sorts of companies!

On subject of investigative journalism and real life dramas, then the film Dark Waters deserves to be mentioned in same breathe as the Oscar winning films Spotlight (2015) and All The President's Men (1976)
