What did most of us say about not doing any more business for black & white players ? ? ? It doesn't work.
TBF it was the usual tribalistic bigots (that were far from being 'most of us') that were peddling the xenophobic twaddle that is the lifeblood of your ilk.
Keep thinking you're the majority if it helps you get through the day

If we'd had him 2 or 3 years earlier I may have said good but we got him when he was past his best, he only looked good because we as usual were shite.

he was 25 when he joined us.

he played in the two seasons when we were argubly playing our best football (albeit in the chamionship), hardly shite

Read back through those posts at the time of his proposed transfer and read them properly this time.

Apart from the fact you're talking daft with regards to him being mediocre for us and saying we were shite (the Phillips, Quinn, Gray, Johnston, Summerbee, Bridges era), he was only 24 when we signed him.

As I said he wasn't as good when we got him as he was a few years earlier when he was good, that's why I thought he was mediocre, mind you that was a hell of a shot from inside our half when he nearly snapped the cross bar in the SOL.

If you think he was just mediocre, Id love to hear your opinion on the fella playing alongside him in a luminous armband during his first season.

And you must be a blind selective knacker ;)

when your in a hole fella sensible folk stop digging!Graham has done nothing but try his best and you come out with this childish mag shit!

Listen we paid over the odds for him because he was a jan buy and we were stuck for options thats not his fault......he was not match fit when he came here and was dumped in a poor performing team......but he has scored goals in the prem and will so again......whether for cardiff hull ect...................i would keep him as a squad player and his performance has absolutly nothing to do with who he supports ,as professional footballers put away this childish shit when they sign their first contract and it becomes work to them.

Spot on. His professionalism and work rate couldn't be questioned by anyone whilst on the park. Was part of the side that beat his boyhood team 3-0 in their own back yard and he revelled in it. If he leaves, good luck to him and he would get a polite round of applause from me if he came back to play at our place.

Overall, he has seemingly been O'Neill's one expensive mistake

You're right and he didn't score either of those two chances he got.

To be fair he hasn't been a great signing so far but he's had half a season in quite possibly the worst attacking team in the league, while a lot of it was under a manager who didn't have a clue.

You can't question his work rate as he always put 100% in but he can score goals and I think he will be a good squad player to use under Di Canio because we will definitely be a more attacking side next season.

By no means am I a huge fan of the guy but I think he deserves more of a chance than just half a season in a bad team.

This for me. Personally for me his performance against the Mags was excellent and I would keep him.
