Re: Have we signed Danny Graham? if not..

I think I'll passively accept the signing until the first time we bring him on as a straight sub for Fletcher and expect him to get the better of two center halves in the air. Which will probably be the first or second game :-(

Re: Norwich in 5m bid for Danny Graham

There was an interview with a Boro coach the other day saying he left as he was stuck behind a load of good forwards and wanted to play. Boro had some canny attacking options in those days.

He left for nowt as he'd done nowt for Boro or the other teams he played for on loan until his spell at Carlisle. He was on par with the likes of Michael Proctor or Ryan Noble for us. For the 1st 5 teams he played for (Boro and 4 on loan) he only scored 5 goals.

Re: Have we signed Danny Graham? if not..

Like every signing we make, IF he does sign he should be given a chance to prove himself

I'm not overly enthused by his potential signing but I could say that about a lot of past signings, some have proved to be shite and mistakes, others have been a brilliant success......guess we will only find out which graham will be if he signs
If he does he will be watched like a hawk. Any mag like statements will be jumped on immediately. He needs to steer a really wide berth from anything to do with those black and white and realise who is paying his wages and who is supporting him from the stands.

Waddle played for the Mags, is a dyed in the wool SAFC fan, and never went on like a wanker aka Lee Clark.

We have far more respect, too much, some would say.

Re: SSN bid made for Danny Graham

hopefully if he hates sunderland that much he'll just pick norwich over us and be done with it

His coach at Boro at the time disagrees. Still, it's irrelevant to the here and now anyway.

Re: Another Danny Graham Interview

Graham has returned to St James' on a number of occasions with previous clubs, but never finished on the winning side — until Saturday.
"I've been back a few times," he said.

"As a kid growing up, coming to the stadium and following the likes of Shearer and (Faustino) Asprilla, to be part on a winning team here is special."
And the Swansea City striker played a key part in his Newcastle's downfall.
With the visitors 1-0 up, Graham's shot was spilled by keeper Tim Krul and Jonathan de Guzman rifled home what proved to be the winning goal.
"The atmosphere was incredible, but being a Newcastle fan, sitting in the stands watching them, it's always a good atmosphere.
"To come and be part of a winning team here is special, especially with all the family sitting in the Newcastle end.
"They obviously want me to do well, but they're mad Newcastle fans so I've got one over on them."

"To come to Newcastle in front of 50,000 Geordies and win is a massive lift for the club.
Seriously man, fuck this twat off. We do not want him at SAFC.

Re: Danny Graham fan club

FTM.

Keep SAFC a Mag free zone. No thanks to Graham (spit).

Re: Norwich in 5m bid for Danny Graham

Swansea don't have to accept any bid at all for a player under contract. Someone could bid £10 million and offer graham £100K a week it is still up to Swansea if they sell or not.

I was told on Saturday that we weren't that interested and its the agent doing all of the talking to get a better deal.
