Re: Norwich in 5m bid for Danny Graham

That's me proved wrong. Definitely not a mentalist.

I'm not the one following strangers around a message board, posting laughing faces and casting aspersions on people's mental health because I'm hung up over something that happened 6 months ago.

You're a freak mate

Re: SSN bid made for Danny Graham

So tell everyone the other half ........... you don't have a clue do you

Yet you 'agree with every word' of the previous post

It's all in the thread bonny lad. Some respected posters have alluded to it on more than one occasion. It was a great post btw u would do well to take a leaf out of the lad's book, u and ur cohort's ad hominem attacks do little to further ur argument

He's an idiot with a Pardew pic on his avatar...

lol do u think this annoys me?

Re: Norwich in 5m bid for Danny Graham

His goal scoring record is decent but £5 million plus for a player who was released by Boro for nowt 5 years ago isn't cheap IMO.

Tom Ince, rumoured to be joining Liverpool for circe £8m 18 months after leaving for nowt. Things like that happen. There are no rules on what can happen in 5 years or once a player is released. Man Utd released Shawcross and he'd go for £10m + if he were to be flogged.

Re: Norwich in 5m bid for Danny Graham

Just an example, there must be others. As I said, we will not be getting a complete centre forward at that price. His goals apart and I am struggling to think when he last scored, Fletcher does little else in my opinion, although there are some who will disagree with that, I don't know what they are looking at. (e.g. how many assists?).

Fletcher's a better footballer than people think he is, maybe "a shit Darren Bent" actually is the kind of striker he can drop a couple steps behind and link up with.

Obviously any two striker formation raises the question of where Sessegnon goes, and I think our general overreliance on width and wing play is also contributing to how ugly some of our football is. It's frustrating as a supporter to have no idea of what these players are supposed to do together, since we've really tried so few approaches.

I'm hung up on nothing. Stupid people on the internet make me laugh - especially the ones with an obvious screw loose and that get all upset by things that are posted. I gently poke you with a stick and the steam comes flying out your lugs.

Re: Norwich in 5m bid for Danny Graham

What bidding war is that you daft knacker? The key to where Graham ends up is the financial package offered to the player not the fee offered to Swansea. IF Norwich offer Graham anywhere near what we have offered him he will end up there but I doubt they will.

There's 4 clubs in for him man (hopefully )

You're wrong anyway  Swansea will want and only accept the best offer they can possibly get for the player. There is no deal at all without that happening...

Re: Norwich in 5m bid for Danny Graham

But Hutchison was a top player before he signed for us. Graham has had one season in the prem. of course I'll get behind him but doesn't strike me as a great signing. Then again, we nearly signed Kevin Davies last Jan

How many Sunderland supporters have they signed? Very few I'll bet.

Pop Robson...

Translates as,

'I don't have a f***ing clue but I'll bullshit and hope to get away with it'

I'll say the words 'respected posters' in the hope of appearing to be one of them and desperately hope for some support ......... no one will support you, guaranteed

Re: Another Danny Graham Interview

I'm done arguing it tbh. These idiots have made up their minds that he's not going to try for us (despite there being clear evidence that he is desperate to beat Newcastle everytime he has played against them) and so they won't support him signing for us. Not true SAFC fans imo but each to their own.

The really sad thing is, it's the same idiots who'll be chanting 'he's one of us' after his first goal.

Hold on mate, the lad has said some pretty derogatory things about a club these 'fans' you talk about love. He loves the team that the majority of us hate. I don't think you can blame a lot of our supporters for criticising him after saying 'He'd stay well away from Sunderland, and would rather support Gateshead'. There's going to be obvious resent, so for you to say that these people are not true SAFC fans is extremely wide of the mark, regardless of your opinion on the transfer.

For what it's worth, I don't want him. (And I actually rate the lad!) My reasoning is that if I was a professional footballer, I'd sign for Newcastle United if it was a good career move, but personally would not give a fuck about how the club performs, and simply be purely motivated by money and my own personal achievements. And I wouldn't put the ball in the net in a derby. I'm not saying everyone's the same, or that Graham is me, but that's all I've got to go on. I don't for one moment believe at all that his heart can be truely in it. Ofcourse he's going to put effort in, I'm not saying he won't, but will he REEAALLLYYY care? I can't say for sure, but I find it hard to believe he will. And also, it's a silly transfer, no matter how many people support him, there's the inevitability that he will become a very easy scapegoat if things don't go brilliantly well.

There's a large sell on clause in Ince's contract as I suspect Liverpool knew he had something. I rate the kid highly.

I don't rate Graham, I think he's a plodder who admittedly has scored a few.

So if they pay 8m, Blackpool give them say, 3m back.....canny business lol

Re: The Danny Graham SAFC Quiz!

Which boyhood Sunderland supporter scored a wembley play off final hatrick to stop them from gaining promotion to the premier league. He then went on to score a penalty in front of the Safc fans in the vital penalty shoot out and mimicked firing a gun into the traveling Sunderland fans?

you forgot to add he lives 50 yards from me
