Re: SSN bid made for Danny Graham

Probably sebbed to pieces, but Don Hutchison tweeted earlier, when asked:

"I promise 1million % I supported n,castle as a boy.still do. But when you get paid, have mates and a top gaffa/you 1 million % give your all. I loved the s,lads in dressing room and the fans that went home and away!!!! Best season of my life"

I thought it was relevant ;)

Re: SSN bid made for Danny Graham

Re: SSN bid made for Danny Graham

Are we mate? We're scoring goals at a perfectly acceptable rate for our aims and are spreading them around the team. Short term cover is all well and good but Fletcher and Graham look a long way away from a good partnership. We are potentially left with a player who should be a squad player but only moved for first team footy. We'd be better looking to the loan market and reassessing in the summer IMO.

Nemo is a bed wetter but its not unsurprising given his advancing years

Re: SSN bid made for Danny Graham

I'm also a bit surprised by all this sudden panic.

We're really talking about ripping up MONs blueprint for a player who is a slightly more hardworking, but less talented facsimile of Fletcher. This at a time when our attacking unit is functioning perfectly well. We'd also remove any semblance of pace from the top of the team by rejigging to accommodate a SF-DG partnership. This move makes little sense on the face of things.i

Yatzeeeee

It's plain as day isn't it. The relative success of sides promoted after us inclines me to believe we've been poorly managed at some level. The argument centres on what we've done wrong. Have we sacked managers too early? Hired the wrong people? Fuck knows but the likes of Norwich, West Brom, Stoke, Swansea and thus far West Ham have shown that we're doing something wrong. Without wishing to appear Mag like we're a bigger club than all of them, we've also outspent them, yet we've failed to overhaul them. What is it with us? Why is that we can't even punch our weight?

Re: SSN bid made for Danny Graham

Many of us remember what you were calling everybody the day of that everton game..........embarrassing behaviour that was rightly rewarded with a ban

That was a deliberate attempt at a ban by someone else using this account.

Fair enough but ........ any views on the actual thread ..... no, fair enough.

I've given my views........fair enough that you disagree with them but please stop with the angry responses before you descend into suggesting that everyone who disagrees with you has illegal proclivities, as you did last time.

I had heard that short men were the angriest and to be honest you're reinforcing that belief

Have you? Your last half a dozen posts have been pathetic attacks on people.

I'm not at all angry, please address the topic of the thread, there's a good lad.

We won the cup two years before I was born, since then a caretaker manager took us within a sniff of glory against an second rate Liverpool team at the real Wembley stadium. It was the best £12.50 I have ever spent watching SAFC that day, I remember standing on the fence and shaking Bruce Grobbelaar's hand with the FA Cup in his other hand and thinking well played, but....one day in my lifetime it will be our day.

Getting beat by two f***ing shit teams at home, in the only two competitions we could win this season grinds on me. We should be better than this but we are not.....another year goes by

This thread is massive so I'm not gonna read all of it but my thoughts are:
1-he's a full on mag
2-where will he fit in at Sunderland? Fletcher is first choice so is Martin planning a system change so he can play both and if not why would Danny graham come here to sit on the bench when he's not happy about doing that at Swansea?
And..
3-he HAS to hit the ground running here and make comment on his previous anti Sunderland comments on arrival or he's gonna be massively disliked

Definite mag (proper on) with a lot to do to turn a lot of us around
