Danny Graham on way home

I think it was quite the opposite, I'm sure about 80% said it was a canny crap signing but they'd support him anyway.

Correct iirc - I was one of the 10% who did not want him because of where he was from and not ashamed to admit it.

Think it was more support for MON than for Graham's signing..people genuinely trusted him despite what was going on each weekend on the field. It wasnt until the Norwich debacle that I finally opened my eyes..thankfully Short has the sense to act.

You could also argue that those three games saw the most ridiculous starting formations and the whole side was absolute tripe.

Yet you felt this manager deserved more time.

The 5 million wasted on Graham is all the more galling when you consider we let a better player - ie Campbell - leave for a pittance.

£41k reported on here - amazed me as well.

Hes bound to be.

5 mill signing.

I think Graham is a decent player, and apart from the lack of goals he's been half decent holding the line for us... however he was the wrong player with what we needed at the time, and still do need. Odd signing from MON

Good luck to the lad, he's given us 100%

Agree mate.

Wasn't what we needed, I tried to justify it at the time because he was coming anwyay so had to get behind him.

He was good for Swansea, so he obviously is a decent player.

Hope we can get a fee for him

I'll never understand why O'Neill set out a team with such an obvious lack of pace to play counter attacking football. And allow them to get unfit as fuck in the process.

He probably thought he was buying a big, strong, English style centre forward to play up front with the other lad he bought for precisely the same reason. I doubt he'd even bothered to watch either of them.

This will be an absolute f***ing disaster. What a pointless signing (if it happens).

My thoughts in January.

A complete waste of time. Fingers crossed it's a permanent deal and we can forget this signing ever happened

If its not a full transfer we need to get a decent loan fee and at least cover 70% of his wage or the whole thing is pointless from our side.
