Danny Graham on way home

They were going to be forking out 4.3 million on Charlie Austin, unproven in the Premier League. I would be looking for all of that and another million or so if they stay up.

They have a weak hand.

Without a doubt. It's a struggle to get players when you first come up and you end up paying a bit over the odds an all. Bernard Cribbons can't afford Bendtner but Graham is in his price range of 4.5/5 mil. Not sure about wages, guess we'd be picking up part of it. Small price to pay to get rid of someone who won't get much of a look in with Paolo imo.

Had a text from our work owner who's friends with Danny. Definitely a loan deal. My itks are shite :-( trying to find out wage percentage

As someone said maybe there is a fee. Maybe they are paying all of his wages. Maybe they know that nobody but Bruce would want the useless knacker.

Not particularly bothered either way mate as long as I never see him in red and white again. Said at the time he only came here to be near home and the cash and it would end in tears - good riddance and well done Paolo.

Graham won't agree to it though. If he signs permanent and they go down probably a clause he takes c50% pay cut. What if they go down and another EPL club doesn't come in for him? Think loan is best we can hope for.

He will have the clause in his contract with us

Jarvis, Pepe and Nathan Gunn wanted him. Nuff said.

Exalted company there mind

I didn't, I have nothing against him personally and think he is ok but not the type of striker we needed, we needed pace. I thought it was a strange one. Feel free to check.

The poll says otherwise.

I think Graham is a decent player, and apart from the lack of goals he's been half decent holding the line for us... however he was the wrong player with what we needed at the time, and still do need. Odd signing from MON

Good luck to the lad, he's given us 100%

Absolutely odd signing from a footballing perspective.

I disagree. I do not believe he gave us 100% against Villa, Southampton and Stoke. I thought he looked poor with few strengths to his game.

I tweeted this from CDG airport, gutted Andy didn't pick up on it

He landed at ponteland at 10pm and even gave up his seat on the bus for a lady - he was wearing training kit and shorts

You could also argue that those three games saw the most ridiculous starting formations and the whole side was absolute tripe.
