Dance Of The Knights and Charlie

Spent absolutely zilch since our mega rich owner took over. Can't get the club shop open, can't get tickets, and those that can get tickets face a lottery as to whether the it will even work at the turnstile. Prices are up. Team looked decent at the start of the season, but since then have reverted back the the usual.

Have high hopes for the new regime like everyone else, but seen nothing yet to suggest that it's any better than before (like I say the previous lot didn't do a bad job considering the situation that they found themselves - didn't help thay ALS and RAWA shat their knickers after a few bad results and demanded the owners leave like)
CEF if everyone knew the whole story, lots of shit would not be posted,
BUT , they cocked up on loads of things, however most was done by SD, that's not defending CM, he made a pigs ear on loads of things.

Such a twat.

Who's the gonk that says Dance of the Knights is boring though? And quite rightly points out the PA system.

That was Chamberlain apparently. There are some people who have no idea or appreciation about tradition, routines or what people like.

I’m not sure whether Chamberlain or Methven had any association or knowledge of the club before they became employees but both just seemed out of touch there.
Full credit for what he was trying to do, but his own suggestion was terrible in my view.

Full credit!

It is Chamberlain. I love Dance of the Knights and all the memories it evoked, but it lost its magic after our decline and back-to-back relegations. I personally felt like it was a good time to shelve it on a temporary basis because it didn't belong in League One, and to try something new. I like that Methven was trying to get people at the club to think outside of the box and get ideas going, but as a say, I don't agree with his own music preferences. I certainly don't agree that DotK is uninspiring or boring either.

I never had you down as someone who’d use the term ‘think outside of the box’ ….

The song didn’t lose anything. The same way as supporter chants didn’t. It’s just that the team got crap. It was there when we went down with 19 and 15 and we came back with it under Keane.

I hate that fucker me. Utter gobshite
Me too. I wouldn't stop punchingbthe fucker given the chance. Never liked him, heard him on early doors during his time here t a charity do, I thought he was an odious fucker then, whilst many around me lapped his shit crack up. A vile man. I hope he's reading this. the tit.

What did he say that makes you believe he encouraged anyone to “think outside the box” be specific please.

Yeah it's Chamberlain seems a decent lad on social media, and I don't exactly think our media team has been bad, but this comment was baffling.

Firmly believe in Media roles you could find someone competent that actually supports Sunderland. Especially for a club of our size.

Dance of the Knights was synonymous with SAFC.
An Arsenal player once commentated how intimidating it was standing in the tunnel at the SOL with this playing as the teams waited to come out.

Hello Hurray, cheers then mate, it’s the Eton rifles, Eton rifles, Eton rifles…
I think this was true under Reidy. It kind of lost its impact when we were losing every other game.

You couldn't get someone less like our fanbase than him. Utterly clueless about the club and supporters.
The club was a joke when he arrived. The place was a shambles, and the staff were taking the piss. Made massive changes that needed making, and spent a fortune on players compared to the current owners, just missing out on promotion by a whisker.

Certainly not perfect, but I reckon they get a load of unfair stick.

Hi Charlie.
