Dan Neil

People on here were sucking off that Seri lad from Hull the other night we he was caught in possession and conceded from it.

Facts are midfielders will lose the ball. It happens to the best. Neil will improve with it the more experienced he gets

And that goes back to January when the recruitment team ignored Mowbray who said we needed a replacement for Evans
Beats me how people suddenly have inside information as to our recruitment & dealings.
Seems to me our recruitment team know what they are doing.
How do we know they weren't busting a gut for a target man & a holding midfielder or are we just assuming they didn't.
Would like to know factual information that leads to posters making those assumptions.

I agree with all that apart from the bit about Clarke. The unwarranted and uninformed opinion of that lad on here from some is very similar
I like Clark, what I mean is, because a bit of a headline player he gets an easier ride when he loses the ball in areas he shouldn't.
Like Dan Neil, he will mature out of that habit, play with his head up more and hopefully eradicate it from his game....in all fairness he's a bloody good player right now, he hasn't got far to go

An opinion that he keeps losing possession  Again it is a fact, even his biggest fans agree he needs to improve on this part of his game.

... and he has.
However anyone who thinks he won’t lose possession on occasion playing as bravely as he does is going to be disappointed.
He either takes responsibility to force the game or he hides and takes the easy route out.
I know which I want
Would love him to work on his strength in the summer and build some muscle mass.

He do that last summer, you can’t compare the player now with last season.
He’s far stronger physically

Mowbray said he needed a replacement for Evans and he was ignored, if he wasn't we would have had a replacement for Evans, it isn't rocket science.

He's f***ing quality man. Oozes class. Love the way he passes the ball with the inside of his foot but curves it away like he's hit it with the outside. His technique is spot on.

He only looked good against us when we didn’t bother pressuring him tbf.
