I thought he took up some great positions and always seemed to know what he wanted to do with the ball before it arrived at his feet, which is generally a sign of a higher quality player. First time I've seen him play and obviously it was a friendly so don't want to go overboard, but he looked like a really good prospect. Needs to be involved in the first team squad as much as possible and to get his contract sorted. Interested to see if he'll play as one of the 10s behind the striker or as a CM if he is given chances. Anyone know what the defensive side of his game is like?

One thing is for sure, he'll be enjoying being away from the under 23s team after last season. Must be disheartening to play for a team that's struggling so much on a week to week basis.
