Dan Neil will be better than Henderson

I like him. Great goal but had a very dodgy first half, and his shooting and inability to see the quick pass let him down time and again, lots of room for improvement but I'm sure he'll get there, needs to put his foot through a tackle as well or he's going to hurt himself.

People thinking Neil will be better than Henderson man  he'll be lucky to make a top half Premier league player.

Sorry like marra, I know you rate the lad - I do myself to an extent - but he's nowhere near the level Henderson was at his age. Hendo was turning out for England and playing week in week out in the Premier League.

They're midfielders and they play(ed) for Sunderland. The similarities end there.

I'd be tempted to go so far as to say Leadbitter was better at his age anarl.

See post #2.
I disagree Chris, and I was one of the people on here who was saying Henderson would be one of the best players England had seen in years, and I was right. Neil is better much better.

People not having a clue. Well done.

While Neil hasn't achieved what Henderson had by his age I still think Neil is going to be a regular for England eventually. He's progressing rapidly and he has the style a lot of premier league teams are crying out for and he's an intelligent player. He's a michael carrick in the making.
An England regular? Haway man.

If you think Dan Neil will get near Henderson's level you haven't got a clue.

Ya wrong.

Hendo however is the best midfielder this country has produced in 20-30 years.

Not sure about the leadbitter bit but agree with the rest
Thought he was poor today mind.
Thought that myself, been saying for weeks he needs a rest, but having said that, the non scoring forwards would do well to finish like that
