I’ve been reading for 2 year on here what a great player he is. That good that he barely kicked a ball under Alex Neil and was dropped straight away and the club went on a fantastic run and got promoted without him in the team. He’s had two or 3 daft red cards. Do you honestly think if we had this top young English central midfielder in the squad that none of the big premier league clubs would have bid for him. People talk like he’s 18 he’s not. He’s a a decent player.@As You Were you fucked the quote up so I'll reply here
Massive myth about him not being able to tackle. His passing is excellent as is his work rate..I think you're massively under rating him.
Btw he has 2 goals this season, that would average out at 8 this season..if he gets 8 from centre midfield this season I'll be happy with that that
No they didn't, Patterson saved them. We literally skyed most of our chances. If you believe they let us play the way we did that's laughably ridiculous tbh. They missed 3 or 4

Have you actually watched him or just read about him?I’ve been reading for 2 year on here what a great player he is. Ekwah looked like he was playing in treacle. No where near fit.he was doing the job of two (arguably 3) with Ekwah looking so far off the pace he was playing in reverse and Jobe not having a defined role again.
We should have had a penalty. That's quite close. Were we close to scoring?
I think there’s about 10 threads saying we weren’t and the reasons why.
If we scored I’m pretty sure they’d have stepped it up. Patto kept us in the game . Easily
Sadly that doesn't stop some on here. He's 21 and played regularly for 3 seasons but people criticise him like he's a 28 year old veterenHe's superb most games now tbh. Rarely has a bad one
After a terrible pass from Hume.
He has, he's had more bad games than goodHe’s done that a lot this season.
He was….choice and weight of pass was superb. For large periods we more than matched them.Neil was superb tonight. Should have won a penalty and received and spread the play extremely well
Just said it in another thread we are incredibly wasteful.This. He certainly wasn’t alone but it’s frustrating as hell watching player after player in our shirt blaze presentable chances high or wide.
That was humes fault rocketed a pass at him when he was under pressure had no chance . We are naive at times if in doubt clear the ball .It was also Neil who lost the ball that gave liecester to corner to score .
Funny how they see that, you see that, I see that but plenty on here are absolutely blind to it.I've read the entire match thread on the foxes talk forum and they are absolutely categorical that we are the hardest game they've had by some distance. They praised out work rate and fooball to the hilt. Thet observed we were the better side but somehow if not for Patto they could have scored 4 or 5. A weird game they said but they were mightily relieved when the whistle blew and could not believe how we kept going at them. They reckon everyone else they've played has been dead by 70 minutes. They also observed that we have an extremely skillfully but very young side which gives us both strengths and weaknesses.
Seen a big improvement in Dan Neil this year...hes more confident , hes wanting the ball and hes getting into some good positions......he reminds me of when we had Jordan Henderson who like Neil was very raw at times but matured season on season......I can see dan playing in the Premier at a good level
Not whilst there’s dogs on the streetFuck me
Yes I did, i also saw all of the other excellent things that he did. We used to say that ki had the keys in our central midfield, well now Neil has the keys. Agree he does need to work on his shooting thoughDid you not see his two shots that went 30 yards over the bar.
He’s not alone in that as we have a tendency from several players who either appear to be scared to have a shot or can’t get it on target. That along with our defending set pieces especially corners needs more work and immediately. Very frustrating to keep conceding soft goals and failing to convert chances. I think we had 13 shots last night so we are creating.Yes I did, i also saw all of the other excellent things that he did.
