The Express has always been, er, sensationalist when it comes to their reporting of the weather. Something extreme - heatwave, hurricane, blizzard - is always just round the corner.

But today they've really outdone themselves. They're warning of 150mph winds this weekend.

But as C4 weather presenter Liam Dutton is now pointing out, they have omitted some significant information from the 'shock map': it shows wind speeds at 30,000 feet.

This is the ground level map. Wind speeds in the UK of up to 15mph. Not 150mph.
