Dabs - the fish.

Tasted them for the first time Friday night as a starter and have to say was well impressed.
Lightly grilled with a hint of garlic butter and squeezed lemon.
Read on here a few times that you catch them up there.
Very nice indeed.
 


Really nice fish to eat, but a fish over 1lb is a good fish. As Cornish Mackem has said, you used to get loads on Roker, especially after a big sea where they'd go daft on all the washed out worm.
