That's almost a full team that can be knocked out every Saturday. Some of the above are now in their 6th season at the club. That equals 6 relegation battles.

The main bulk of players at our disposal are generally not very good. That's plain to see. What I don't understand is why people believe the manager is solely to blame. Since Steve Bruce, we've had 6 managers (excluding caretakers). The only league positive from the past 6 was Sam Allardyce getting the players to believe they were better than they were.

Defoe is obviously on another level, but the rest of the other players are absolutely dire. We have players on 40 bags a week who cannot even manage a pass to one of our players. That's not the managers fault? As a collective group, why do the players never get a slagging off?

And the majority of them are first choice. For that reason the manager is totally to blame.

Moyes has had 2 transfer windows to improve the quality in the squad and he had brought in worse than what we already have.

Moyes didn't sign a single player from that list. And as much as people want to deny it, N'Dong is our best midfielder, the stats don't lie. We know there is no money there also

Player recruitment is the biggest part of the problem for me. All the managers are culpable in buying badly with the possible exception of big Sam.

Ndong is not a £13million player for me and no way is he our best midfielder when the likes of Catts and Kirchoff are fit. Moyes admitted he signed Donald Love on recommendation the lad was on his way to Preston he had never seen him play. He thinks Piennarr has been one of our best players this year.

Moyes spent 7.5m in January and had bids rejected of 7-8m for Ulloa. That's around 15m the same amount Sam had to spend. He had no backup plan when Leicester played hard ball. His transfers have been poor.

Absolutely this. Yes his hands have been tied to a degree but the players he's brought in have been poor. If they aren't better than we have then it's criminal signing them in the first place

Saw an interesting stat this morning. We are the 8th longest serving team in the league. The top 7, are the top 7. All the other teams have been promoted since us, and are all above us
The board and management should be ashamed of this. But they won't be, they don't give a shit.

But Catts are Kirchoff aren't fit, hence currently, N'Dong is statistically our best midfielder.

Did Moyes not give Love a run out at United like?

Again, people are overlooking the fact our squad has been absolutely shit for 6 years, and are pointing the finger at Moyes for all the failings. This crop of players have been here for years

Ashamed? We've been overachieving for years by just being in the PL. We are a top championship team, and a very poor PL one.

Shame we can't have our own breakaway league with the likes of Norwich, Hull, Mags, Boro, Derby etc.

It was Van Gaal who played Love iirc. Whilst Moyes didn't have much to work with it's been some achievement of his to bring in worse players than the ones on that list excluding Ndong and maybe Anichebe.

That a club the size of SAFC is "overachieving" by scraping survival season after season is another reason for the lot of them to be ashamed.

And Oviedo? He's a step up

4 of his signings started on Saturday. Januzaj has a moment of brilliance in him, something no other player we currently have can produce. N'Dong has been solid. Gibson and Oviedo is too early to tell, but anyone is better than PVA at defending

Oviedo is a step up but its too early to tell? Thought he was poor on saturday coleman had him on toast. Decent debut though. PVA earnt palace 3 points at the weekend..

He might have earned them points, but in the long run, it will be nothing compared to the points he loses. Oviedo instantly looks the better defender of the 2. He knows his position for a starter. Coleman had the whole wing on toast

That's the point though for all of Moyes 13 signings the ones already at the club are better.

And NDong isn't our best midfielder, couldn't lace Cattermole or Kirchhoff boots.
