49 league starts (subbed 18 times) and 30 appearances as a sub isn't five seasons mate.Yes, but how about a big lad with 11 in five seasons?

I don't think so. A total of 22.5m for Connor Wickham who has scored minimal goals in 90 games. 9/10m fee and 12.5m on wages to reinvest on someone who might have potential and can actually deliver it. We have waited for 5 years with Wickham. He hasn't delivered it.
The fact he wasnt deemed good enough to start up front by consecutive managers ahead of some real dross is damming tbh.49 league starts (subbed 18 times) and 30 appearances as a sub isn't five seasons mate.
It's remarkable isn't it. He is one of the most frustrating players I have ever watched. Think my BP will go back to normal now. Won't be screaming at the match for him to use his frame or battle with his opponent.
90 games my hairy arsehole man.
When did this happen?
He's of the standard bottom half premier league player. If that makes him worth £10 million then we truly are tucked.
This smacks of when the Stoke fans were crowing after they signed Kenwyne Jones from us.....reality will bite soon enough!
Not at all, that really is not the point.
Clubs buy and sell all the time, the asset has more worth depending on numerous factors, as I said selling him and replacing him with better makes sense.
THe point is, have we obtained FULL value for an asset of his type, I think at the numbers quoted we have not.
THe discussion about his application / attitude / record is a different issue, if we sell, lets get maximum revenue, do you think we have? Compared to the market as it now is?
Bollocks. He's 22 year old man.It is five seasons though, his lack of action just highlights how shit he is.

It's identical. I said that to a Palace fan on twitter (one of them actually said he'd have as good a season as Harry Kane) and he replied with "Yeah, but he was a one trick pony". They're in for an awful shock
He was needed on the left. The fact he wasnt deemed good enough to start up front by consecutive managers ahead of some real dross is damming tbh.
It's already been said but he's had 5 managers none of which have played him in what is supposed to be his best role. There must be a reason for that. Let him go , put the money into Austin and we look a lot betterIt's remarkable isn't it. He is one of the most frustrating players I have ever watched. Think my BP will go back to normal now. 2011-2015 is four seasons. A mistake on my part but I can safely say that the point still stands. The fact that he was regularly either sent out on loan or left on the bench/out of the squad speaks volumes as well, particularly as we have consistently been a low scoring team throughout that period.
Even based on the appearances alone, his record is appalling. Add that to the fact that he couldn't control a medicine ball and you can see why this is incredible business.
I do. He hasn't delivered. Isn't prolific. Isn't a target man. Best part of 10m then I say we have.
Then I will end my discussion by summarising
The lad has much more ability than we have got out of him here, don't know why.
We have failed to use him wisely
Selling him for a better option is correct
Selling him for a sub market rate is stupid, but typical
He will become a very effective premier leaugue player, and will in his first season for palace socre more than in any of his seasons here.
That's it, sell for the right price, move on, and learn, square pegs fit square holes.
