Plus the £10 offer is available to most people.
I would never put an offer on like this again if I was Quinn.
We would have still had around 34k without the offer IMHO

For all the feckers on here who moan about the cost of tickets etc.
For all the ones who say if we charge £10 a ticket it would be full every home game.

You are wrong
spot on, no excuse whatsoever not to go imo.

The schools offer shows that with reduced tickets we would have 40-45k every week.

Why is anyone surprised? that derby result is going to take a lot of getting over, even beating Chelsea seven nil wouldnt have f***ing made up for it, a lot of people I know will take a lot of tempting back after that.
fuck off man, we lost to newcastle so people give up on sunderland and boycott games?

the people you know who need tempting...tell them to fuck off the fickle twats

we wouldn't though, we normally get between 35k-40k. Monday night is £10 a ticket and we are still struggling to shift 40k. The only game it will be full for is newcastle. IUn the next 3 year we'll probably only sell out 3 games. Cheap tickets or not, we won't sell out the SOL regularly.

To many people lack the passion as well as the money, and if we start doing well and they comeback they will be known as the plastics.

remind me of our average home gate last year

40k

Monday night games are difficult to get to for exiles. The game is on the telly and Christmas is coming up. Hard time financially and a lot of clubs struggling to sell tickets.
That is one reason why I hope that Wolrd Cup bid not successful. If stadium is extended to 60,000, we would have a lot of empty seats and crap atmosphere.

The schools offer was only available for a handful of games, if we offered those prices to all we wouldn't go below 40k.
what and rip the season ticket holders off? whats the offer a kid and adult for £15-£20 or summit, what about the season ticket holders? Put our price as the same as theirs and fair enough. You can't change season ticket holders near £400 and give tickets away nigh on a tenenr each.

Common sense, but it will fall on deaf ears on here. It always does. Who really gives a fuck ?

I'm a season ticket holder also, I'm not saying we should or shouldn't have these offers, but if tickets were cheaper we would more or less sell out. Tickets are far too expensive for many, especially at this time of year.

Why are people f***ing obsessed with Newcastle? I was gutted about that result as everyone else was, but I wouldnt stop going to games because of 1 bad result against them.

Why are people f***ing obsessed with attendances ? This "poor" attendance you forecast, will still be one of the best in the country, in one of the poorest regions.

Im obsessed because I pointed out that our "home end" will be half full a week after we hammer Chelsea, we're unbeaten at home and its a tenner a ticket?

As already stated earlier, it's a Monday night, it's on the telly, and it's near Christmas. If people don't fancy it, then so fuck. Why does it bother you so much ?
