I have just returned from a 2 week cruise in the Med' aboard the Independence of the Seas. I'm a massive motorsports nut and have dreamed about visiting Monte Carlo for years. I finally got to do that and took my camera hoping to find some inspiration and getting back in the groove. Not that I have a 'mojo' to lose, but what I did have has kind of been lost over the last few months.

I took this photo which, until I got back to the ship, I didn't think much of to be honest. I kind of like it and think it works.

But hey, like art, photograph is all about opinion so feel free to pick it apart.

I hadn't given it any thought. Would you not recommend it?

Either way I only upload those I want to share/be seen/link to.

I haven't much of a critique on the pic you posted but there are some really good pics in the set mate.

The horizon is out on the Bay of Biscay shot

I presume you mean the horizon is squint? If so, you will notice the water/horizon dips in the middle, unfortunately I couldn't control the movement of the ocean.

Thanks for the comments everybody.

I like the shot you linked too. Only thing I can say is I would have preffered a narrower DOF, to blur the tarmac out a bit.
