Craig Gardner

All of these people slagging off Gardner are probably the same ones who do be piping off O'Nien. The same type of player. Both give 100% and care about the clubs they play for. The only difference is Gardner played at a much higher level which exposed his weaknesses. He was a good player but not a Premier League player.

announced as player-coach at Birmingham City! What next Campy as goalkeeping coach:eek:
Demonstrating how not to be a midfielder I presume.

Absolutely no awareness on the pitch. The amount of times he was caught in possession was comical.

Nice likable lad and tried his hardest, pretty poor though
Drove me up the wall.

Thought he made a better right back to be honest.

Undoubtedly.
Strikes a lovely ball though, that goal away to Wigan was superb
Wasn't there a segment on Sky Sports once comparing him with Ronaldo with regards to the way he strikes a dead ball?

Could run all day and was a real CM - exactly what we are missing.
I hope 09 can be that man.

Not whilst he is playing at rightback

I really hope we sign a right back this season or give Love a chance. I would like to think he is Div 1 standard which will allow 09 to move to a more forward role

They'll be no midfielders better in the league to run fifteen yards with their heads down before pot shotting at goal every five minutes now he's got the coaching reigns that's for sure
