I’ve had one or two canny mint ones. But in general, aye, I’d agree.
Remember getting a 10% chilli stout years ago, might have been Durham Brewery. Me sister picked me up from work to get me to SJP for the match, so I drank it in the car, catching up with all them that had been out since daft o’clock.
Thought my face was being raped. This heat just came up through me nostrils & my eyes started gannin.

Nearly cracked open a can there. But I’m at the pictures with the bairns tomorrow morning. Not a good combo. Will have a couple after the match then across to Pop Recs for Martin Stephenson. There’ll be Vaux on, last time was a Beak IPA.
Right out of my comfort zone with sours like. One of the reasons I get the Vaux sub box. I’d be over the moon with 12 stouts, but it encourages me to try new things too.

I'll give it a go. Some decent gear in supermarkets these days but seem to be spread across a few. Sainsburys have gone from worst to best selection with their latest ones.
Just been to FCBC taproom. Underwhelmed by the latest offerings tbh.

They seem to have dropped off the radar a little of late, I see far more Two by Two stuff than Full Circle
I see Alpha Delta are no more. Not a surprise given how quiet they've been recently but they did some decent stuff in their day.

Haha, I always thought that. Proper confusing. I don't think I've ever tried one of their beers either.
AD were decent but it's such a saturated market, it's not hard to see why these places end up folding.
They got well and truly fucked over for rent with their taproom/lounge, same landlords as split chimp I think.
Tbh, sad to see them go - but they never really pulled up any trees for me.
Stopped going in Delta Lounge. Barman was a dick once, accusing me of being scared of big boy beers as I didn't want the 11% TIPA. Fair enough it was before my heart attack but i was already about 8 pints deep and I'm not the biggest fan of TIPA's anyway.
We weren't regulars anyway, beer was good but the music was mostly horrific.
