Craft Beer

In town I'd be doing Ivy, Chaplins, Isis, Duncow and Peacock.

If you were over Fulwell/Seaburn then Lighthouse, Oceans and Torque (all on Sea Rd). The Roker Hotel sells a load of different S43 beers and the Harbour View usually has a good selection.
Chaplains isn’t the same standard as the other ones like. Better than most like

havent been in chaplins for years. used to go no further. what's it like?

Vault City's pear and ginger was on keg at The Town Mouse last week. Really enjoyed that even though still not a huge sours fan.

Probs been asked 100s of times so apologies in advance. But what's the best venues for good beer in town? Ideally a crawl of some sort

So far the lass and I are hitting Vaux which I'm looking forward to but drawing blanks when looking for other definitive craft beer spots

Vaux, walk over the bridge to the Peacock, Fire Station, Dun Cow, Isis, Fitzies, Chaplins, Ivy House.

Fire Station has inexplicably removed their cask lines, no idea of the thinking in that, but the Clwb Tropica is keg so is still on.

Don’t pretend to be the biggest impy aficionado, but getting amongst a new collab with FCBC and Turningpoint in the tap room. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Maple, chocolate, coffee. Magic.
Oh, and in my beer fuelled frenzy, turns out I misheard how many kegs of the new NEIPA they have at vauxies.

Probably have a run through tonight 😂

Place I was in last week reckoned it was just full if chunks of ginger, no thicker than their usual offerings. They were trying to get it going for over an hour then just gave up.
The lass just pointed out it took ages to pour so that makes some sense. Though it definitely had no bits and I've never seen a single bit in a beer of there's including two trips to their taproom in the past month. Can believe it though with the objects they brew with.
Blues have got it, or are getting it on
I'd never heard of that place. Will be sure to visit now I Googled it.

It’s class. The couple who run it are quality as well
Struggling here like. Dinner’s at 2, bairn needed a walk to get an hour of kip. Thought I’d swoop in for a strategic pint. Vaux not open, Torque Bar not open, looks like Ocean Bar is 2pm, Lighthouse shutters are down. Ended up with a Guinness outside the Blue Bell & it’s shit. Nee good at all.

Isis was the correct answer

The Easter special bait is fantastic 😀

Was going to walk down to the Roker & see what S43 was on, but it was probably slightly too far for my time frame. I’m mean, I’m onto my second Guinness now so the cans are definitely coming out when I get in.

Pretty much exactly what I did (minus Chaplins and Fitz) but in reverse! Turned into a cracking night although I'm feeling it today mind.

Finishing in Vaux with 2/3 of a 8.6% ABV Turning Circle seemed like a good idea at the time
