Craft Beer

Brew York releasing another couple of 10% stouts the bastards.
Bought. Got the Tea IPA as well. Swerved the Juice (sour).
I think our pastry stout lovers on here would have enjoyed the taplist at the Three Hills taproom last night. That nitro one was excellent.

Pick of the bunch was the bretted pale though. Excellent beer.
That's a cracking list.

Bought that Centaur Skies - Vault City x Neon Raptor. Seems a bit mental, I’m intrigued.

Got a left hand Brewing nitro stout & the S43 coconut one as well.

Haven’t had that yet. My mate gets a BBNos subscription box I think so has started bringing me an odd stout round when he comes. All been pretty good so far.
I find their porters a bit heavy on the coffee normally (not a coffee drinker) but this was decent. I'm a big fan of their pales though so get a mixed case from them now and again. Also the only brewery I've tried so far that can add CBD to a beer without making it completely undrinkable.

I’m not a coffee drinker myself, but do enjoy the coffee stouts & porters.

As a coffee drinker a coffee stout is perfect for me, though it's surprising how few times brewers manage to nail it, to my tastes anyway. I suppose I'm in the minority however as I don't want a hint of coffee, I want it big and strong and in your face, which seems too much for many so it often seems toned down or have the edge taken off by another adjunct, such as maple.

The opposite to me then! Maple is a horrendous adjunct though, nearly always completely overpowers everything.
