Craft Beer

If it’s anything like the run NM did last year, it wasn’t bad at all. The Sunday dinner one was a step too far for me though.
It's the exact same one, just now it's hit the supermarkets. It's not too different from TR jam doughnut effort. Just a bit of a sweet ale. I didn't mind the dinner one either. It's not like it actually of a dinner. Just a bit of an earthy rich taste. The dinner aspect was more a marketing thing truth be told. The one in question was the better of the two.

A jam tasting pale ale couldn't be further away from what I enjoy in beer tbf. I did try the Tiny Rebel one a few years ago and I'm pretty sure it went down the drain!

Dug this old pic I took at the time. Sent it to my mam saying I'd finally sorted a dinner (forgot you got a menu thing with it). Lockdown boredom I think iirc. Very much backs my take it was a bit of a gimmick, which pulled me in tbf.

The Roker has got a few S43s I've not tried. Got myself a Skeleton Crew, which is very nice, rather malty. Will get a Chaps next before I head off.

I know it is by no means craft beer but has anyone tried bottles of Stella unfiltered? Just noticed it recently and guess it is InBev trying to get a foot hold in again but happy to be proven wrong.
Tastes more like the Stella of yesteryear but still not great. The unfiltered stuff is a bit of a fad if you ask me.

I was interested in one of those "Pinter" Machines a while back but I got sick of seeing the adverts on Instagram.
Has anyone bought one of those?
I asked on here about then perfect pint machines a while ago. I’m assuming they’re the same? Anyhow, somebody made a really good point that unless you’re drinking the same drink, you’ll have to clean it out everytime you want a new can. I abandoned the idea at that point.

Pinter two is out, it’s more sturdy and easier to use and I believe there’s a bigger choice of base beers now. Still not heard good things about it. Seems a toss up whether you get a good beer out of it or not and it takes about a month end to end til you get some suds out of it. The price per pint is cheap like and there’s room to manoeuvre what you brew, if you know what you’re doing.

I see. I'm guessing you'd need to flush a perfect draft or Blade after you've finished a keg if you want something else?

Can't see the point of them at all. If you want to brew beer then surely the joy is in the process, adapting recipes etc. It's a long winded way of getting an average beer to drink at home.

The craft beer channel on YouTube did a video on it a few months ago.

Nope, get the new keg pre chilled, lock and load it, maybe wait a little while to get to 3 degrees and fill your boots.
