Covid

Just tested positive, all I need this close to Christmas and my weak immune system due to the chemo.
Not great news. What’s the script with you’re chemo if you’re positive?

Possible to have a home visit?
Also, I don’t know if you’ve had Covid before or not. But the advice I’d give after having two bad bouts of it is to just listen to your body and rest.

Hopefully you just end up being asymptomatic/have mild symptoms though 🤞

I have no idea mate, not due another dose of chemo until the 28th of January.

Trying to find out what I need to do regarding work.

This is a pretty helpful resource for information regarding symptoms and how to deal with them.

If it’s just early stages for you, I’ll keep my fingers crossed you don’t need it and just end up being grateful not having a sense of smell post Christmas sprouts!

So sorry to hear that. I think you probably can get anti-virals if you ring your GP in the morning. Also immunosuppressed and I've been told to ring GP for treatment if I test positive.

Look after yourself mate xx
