Coventry City eviction notice

I'm 60 & recall the events of 1977
I sit in the north stand & witnessed the arsey behaviour of their fans
I was at St Andrews when we lost 1-0 a few seasons back, their fans were twats then, certainly walking from the ground the presence of Birmingham plod in numbers was appreciated.
If their ground were flattened then presumably the Jimmy Hill statue would go🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
They won't be missed in my book!!

Ashley is saying that Coventry never signed the licence before Wasps went bust. No one to blame but themselves if that's the case.

Reading that, sounds like you're right that it's just a ploy to buy the club. Doesn't sound like he has any intention of actually forcing them to leave the ground.

Sisu and the new owner ,went to the court and offered £25 million as a counter bid to fat Mike's £17million , now if I was a fat Cockney spiv ,I'd think these lot can afford to pay more rent

mike ashley is many things..but he is from leafy surrey originally..so not a cockney.
i suspect the issue here is the old owners, sisu think the new onwers should be paying the ret, but the new owners because the deal isnt confirmed think sisu should be..and because no one has..ashley is putting his fpoot down

Hypothetical but don't you think he'd have been a better option than the Chuckle Brothers we ended up with ?
no one could possibly think ashley would have been a worse owner than any owner we have had since bob murray..ashley did quite well at newcastle given he didnt care..
Why would Ashley buy a stadium and then chuck out it's only tenants? Makes no sense.
he didnt though..the CBS arena contains two hotels and a casino..that company is very profitable.thats why ashley bought it..the stadium is part of the company but contributes basically fuck all.
ashley is opening a huge new HQ in coventry..he cant let the club go bust as he opens a hq which will employ hundreds of locals...
