Coventry City eviction notice

I actually feel sorry of Coventry Building Society. It probably paid a small fortune to obtain the name rights of the stadium in the belief that in doing so it would enjoy the good will of the local community and would be abke refelct in the positive glory of two well supported & successful sports teams.

Poor beggars its been nothing short a of disater for them they a have been assocated with financial crisis bitter public rows & insolvency for years and now thet have this.

He wants the club and forcing it into as much trouble as possible only drives the price further down.
Not a great way to win over the fans...especially when their new owner is currently going through the FA's tests. I can see why the new owner could pull out off the back of this but it's an expensive risk for Ashley.

They should be ashamed of themselves, what an absolute shambles of a club they are at the moment.

Absolute circus.

Since when has he given a single shite about that until the repercussions are absolutely catastrophic? Surely you have a raft of recent evidence you can draw from?

Could also be a move to move the rent up too, if the FA actually stuck to the rules and didn't allow them to play wherever they could get for cheap enough they'd be forced to either play in tiny stadiums or give him the rent increase he requested. Or sell it to the new owner for a few million profit. He doesn't care what people think of him, he just sees everything as numbers on a sheet.

No love lost for Coventry TBH but love football. The game is awash with billions of pounds but outside the Premier League it is allowed to attract a load of charlatans, spivs and dodgepots who don't give a fook about football and the Authorities just let it happen and are complicit in the demise of lower league clubs. There is a hell of difference between making a club run on sound commercial lines and sucking and bleeding the cash out of it. What other industry would entertain the likes of William Storey and his like!
