There isn't one signpost to say Tyne and Wear. It is "City of Sunderland", "South Tyneside" etc.

and when you get to Seaham there's a 'Co. Durham' sign post.

T&W is just a label to group the 5 boroughs under.

Would not really call it a supporters branch though, them lot up in Jarrow obviosly get a kick out of there little flag and that.

When he gets the tickets, the ticket office write 'Peterlee Branch' on the envalope

cliff richard was born in India but he's not an asian. this has got absolutely nowt to do with owt and doesn't prove a single thing

And when you get half way through the pedestrian tunnel it says Durham on one side and Northumberland on the other. You can't change history. Or was St Bede a Tyne and Wear lad

I know but the confucious wants to be more Safc than me so I let him win as they have already been defeated once in this thread by County Durham.

Fact is your not in County Durham.

None that I know of but I live in Hartlepool and don't know may people down here, I never see any football tops other than HUFC & SAFC, which is quite pleasing.

Back in Peterlee where I am from it is the same as anywhere around here, it suffered badly for glory seekers during Keegans reign, more SAFC I would say.

It's a bit of banter mate, nothing to get offended by.

Is this the Co. Durham that you're so proud of you live in Cleveland?
